The market demands open-source fighter jets
The UK has decided that don’t want to buy US fighter jets unless the US is willing to provide the source code for the firmware that controls them. Britain is worried that the jets could contain back doors that allow the US remotely disable them. Apparently Australia has made similar demands. Open-source fighter jets… who would have thought?
