My friends keep doing awesome stuff…
It’s hard to keep up with them all. I’m so proud to call these people pals. :)
Adam Varga and Greg Galant just launched News Groper, a network of fake blogs written from the POV of real celebrities. In the spirit of the ever-awesome Fake Steve Jobs. Super idea, and if they can make the writing high-quality, this thing will fly.
Alicia Kachmar’s baseball beer cozy is gonna be featured by another friend, Natalie Zee, on TV this Thursday as part of CRAFT magazine’s Stitch and Pitch contest. Sweet!
Nick Gray quit his job and is spending the next couple months in Mumbai, India. I’m considering spending some time in India later this year and I’m really enjoying following along with his travels and comparing his experiences with Meg’s in the same country.
Zach Klein and Jakob Lodwick launched the new version of Vimeo. It’s been a few weeks, but it’s drop-dead gorgeous and definitely worth a look. And their tagline is very well-written: Vimeo. Because everyone shouldn’t watch everything. Aside: Zach’s leaving CH in September and I’m hoping he’ll devote more time to fun projects like his new blog with Courtney.
Brad Smith came up with this fun idea for iPhone contact pics that we featured on Photojojo. It was on the front page of Digg yesterday!
New beginnings… Saha’s hoping to create a House 2.0 in Brooklyn and Charlie O’donnell left his post at Oddcast and is thinking about what’s next while taking a roadtrip across the USA.
