My first crush was Katie Novak from Shelton, CT. I was in 5th grade.
I finally worked up my courage on the last day of school. She was in her classroom and I was on the playground, but her classroom’s windows were open. So I walked over and asked her through the window.
Here’s how I said it: “Back To The Future Three, Will You Go See It With Me?” I was horrified that it had rhymed…but she said “yes!”
We never went to the movie but I knew, at that moment, that I was a player. :)
Thanks for passing that video along, Amit. Your blog adds value to my life, and coming from an MBA, that’s the highest honor you could ask for!

Just maybe a little too long for a ViewTube round. But maybe not. It is a good video. One of the things that doesn’t make it great is that some of the animals-as-people are incidentally animals. For instance, the my little pony story didn’t need to be ponies and a tiger– it could have worked by being rats, birds, or chimps. The shark eating the little fish (sharklove=eating), and the dog following the fox in order to smell her (doglove=smelling) were the great parts of the video, the my little pony/tiger and the bird/polar bear were animals but what kind of animals they were (or the fact that they were animals at all) was incidental, not essential to the telling of the story. Great parts: shark, dog. Decent-but-not-great-prats: pony, bird
